A Positive Sanctuary
"Happiness...can come from work and pride in what you do"
Mohatma Gandhi

"The self-confidence of the warrior is not the self-confidence of the average man. The average man seeks certainty in the eyes of the onlooker and calls that self-confidence. The warrior seeks impeccability in his own eyes and calls that humbleness. The average man is hooked to his fellow men, while the warrior is hooked only to infinity.”

Working Artists

Looking for co-op members who are HIV+ and are able to sell their goods, maybe just need time and space where you don’t have to work yourself to death in a crappy day job that only pays the rent.

Any resident with an ability to make an income with any kind of art medium they can imagine is encouraged to do so. Multiple studios will become available as soon as there is excess cash to get rid of. A recording studio, pottery studio,  lapidary workshop are first on the list. If an artist can make an income, the artist will pay for studio rent as well as their own supplies. Rent will be determined at the time.

The Farm will have high speed internet access for everyone, even if its a satellite dish. Hopefully faster access wil be available, it depends on where the property is.

Many years ago I used to mine quartz crystals in Arkansas which got me into cutting stones and doing the metal settings to make my own jewelry. I did that for a couple of years, its was pretty fun! I want rebuild a lapidary workshop as soon a I can.

I paid the rent for a couple years selling hand-thrown stoneware dumbeks, the music stores ate them up! I’d like to do some of that again. Here’s a couple:
